The ASPCA has created an animated 60-second video that boils down the problem of factory farming in a nutshell without gore or violence, making it suitable for younger audiences.
The video is aimed at fighting “ag-gag” laws that make it a crime to expose animal cruelty. Factory farm operators build walls to hide the horrors inside and want to keep it that way. With a focus on profit, corporations care little about the resultant collateral damage such as soil, water and air pollution, the super strains of drug resistant infections caused by antibiotic abuse, and the shear magnitude of animal abuse and cruelty. Instead, they care about the public finding out, and hence the efforts to make exposing these crimes against the earth and animals illegal.
